Skill Set Required: Database (Oracle/DB2/SQL Server/MySql) Administration for Development Project and Deployment site (Production) on Aix Unix/HPUnix/Linux/ Windows
Installation and configuration of Database,
Monitoring of Databases,
Capable of calculation the memory consumption for a period of time, design and implement the Database Schema (Table spaces, Tables, Indexes, constraints, segments, clusters etc) as per the requirement,
Backup and Recovery management,
Database configuration as per requirement,
Database tuning,
Database mirroring,
Database/User Security and Authentication,
SQL tuning,
Good knowledge of DBMS_* utility packages and their usage
Use of all Database management tool like Toad, Raptor, SQL Analyzer, RMAN, DB2 Command Center etc.
Proficient in Data Manipulation Language and Data Definition Language

Skill Set Desirable : Oracle Certified Professional, DB2 Certifies Professional, SQL Server Certified Personal. Exposure to CMM Level 5 or ISO standard. , Managing a team of 2 to 3 fellow DBAs.
Educational Qualifications: Engineer, MCA,

Experience: 6 years to 15 years
